Featured Event: An Evening for Life

The nation was shocked in 2015 when the Center for Medical Progress released a series of undercover videos exposing the existence and abuses of the fetal tissue industry. At the time, many people found it rightly unconscionable that the Abortion Industry was selling pieces of infants for medical research. It is one thing to know that late-term abortion happens; it is another thing to listen to abortionists discuss the best way to rip babies apart in order to leave vital organs intact.

Once the videos made it to the mainstream news, the fallout was immediate. Suddenly, regular people all over America could no longer ignore the seedy underbelly of the Abortion Industry and even Congress conducted an investigation into illegal fetal tissue trafficking.

Of course, Planned Parenthood and their allies in the press, government, and in the courts responded with a vengeance. The undercover reporters who captured the videos were prosecuted, further reporting was throttled in the media, and the FBI and Department of Justice dragged their feet on criminal investigations. In the mind of the general public, the entire issue was successfully memory-holed.

Thankfully, there are some who have not forgotten the atrocities of the fetal trafficking industry and have continued to doggedly pursue justice. Over the last six years Judicial Watch has been collecting evidence against Planned Parenthood and fetal tissue procurement firm Advanced Bioscience Resources (ABR). At the beginning of April, they released 575 pages of communication between ABR and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that document the fact that American taxpayers spent tens of thousands of dollars on the organs of aborted babies between 2012 and 2018.

The FDA was taking the livers and thymuses of babies at 16-24 weeks gestation and surgically implanting them into the bodies of mice. These humanized mice were then used to test various drugs and medications. Before the Judicial Watch release, it was known that universities around the nation conducting studies on humanized mice—one study by the University of Pittsburg involved grafting baby’s scalps onto the back of mice—but now there is proof that public funding is being used to pay for it.

So, where is the outrage?

The pockets of prolife people are being pilfered to pay the abortion industry for livers, hearts, scalps, fingers, and toes. The organs of viable babies—21 weeks and older—are being implanted into animals and Americans are writing the checks.

There is no longer any way to be “personally prolife.” The fence is gone, and we must all decide which side we will stand on. Will you stand on the side of Life, or will you be silent as the federal government forces you to fund death?
