Prolife Litany
Copy and paste text below:

For all unborn children,
that our love for them may keep them safe
until the joyous day of their birth;
We pray to the Lord

For the children of our country,
especially those who are forgotten or neglected,
that their presence might remind us
of the infinite value of human life;
We pray to the Lord

For new parents,
That they may rejoice in the splendor and beauty
of God’s creation of new life,
We pray to the Lord

For our legislators,
that they may preserve the right of each of us
to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness;
We pray to the Lord

For a growing love of the weak and the vulnerable,
that in the model of Christ Jesus, our Lord,
we might work to sustain and protect the lives of all who are in need;
We pray to the Lord

59 Million Lives Lost
There have been more than 59 million abortions performed in the US since the infamous Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton court decisions were handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court Justices. That action legalized abortion in all 50 states through all nine months of pregnancy in 1973. The most recent statistics show 26,716 abortions were performed in Michigan in 2018, and there have been 1,247,737 abortions in Michigan since statistics were first kept in 1980.

Sample E-mail Message to Supporters

Dear supporters of ______ Right to Life

On January 17, 2021, we will celebrate Sanctity of Human Life Sunday (SoHLS). SoHLS is a day for Americans to focus on the value of each and every human life. It is celebrated every year on the Sunday closest to the anniversary of the 1973 U.S. Supreme Court decisions Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, which legalized abortion in every state for any reason through all nine months of pregnancy.

President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation creating the first National Sanctity of Human Life Day in January 1984, and it included these words:

“We have been given the precious gift of human life, made more precious still by our births in or pilgrimages to a land of freedom. It is fitting, then, on the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade that struck down State anti-abortion laws, that we reflect anew on these blessings, and on our corresponding responsibility to guard with care the lives and freedoms of even the weakest of our fellow human beings.”

We invite you on Sunday, January 17, to remember the loss of more than 59 million unborn children since 1973 and help ______ Right to Life celebrate the precious gift of life for all.

Please join us (insert information about local events happening in your area)
