Right to Life of Michigan

Echo After is a four member modern alternative rock band from Grand Rapids. They have impressed audiences at night clubs, coffee shops, festivals, and churches across Michigan. Though clearly a rock band, Echo After presents an array of sound touching elements of modern, alternative, and pop rock. Because of this mature grasp of music the band appeals to many age groups from pre-teen to adults. But Echo After is more than music. It’s more than a band. It’s a mission. A mission to reflect, repeat, resonate, (ECHO) the love that Christ has shown the world. The band exists to help drive this mission through music, words, and relationships. Music from their debut full-length album, When I Fall Apart, can be heard on their MySpace page or their web page: www.echoafter.com.

The lingering emotional pain of abortion is real. Just ask Teen Life Night 08 guest speaker Lydia Clarke. In her book, “Can’t Keep Silent: A Woman’s 22-Year Journey of Post-Abortion Healing” Lydia pulls back the curtain on her life and shares her personal experience of teenage pregnancy and the abortion that followed. Lydia Clarke is the founder of Go Free Ministries, a ministry dedicated to freeing and equipping people to boldly walk in the fullness of their God-given identity, potential, purpose and destiny. Lydia will draw you into the life of someone facing an unplanned pregnancy and will enable you to comprehend the struggles before an abortion, its devastating effects and the unfathomable love of God.

After experiencing forgiveness, healing and restoration, Lydia has been facilitating post-abortion support groups/Bible studies and has been sharing “The Truth about Abortion” as a keynote speaker at various worship services, conferences and retreats.
