On October 11, 2008 Right to Life of Michigan Educational
Fund will hold its 2nd Annual Teen
Life Night from 7-9 p.m. at St. Matthew Lutheran Church
in Holt/Lansing. This year's event will feature speaker Lydia Clarke
and the band Echo After. Lydia pulls back the curtain on her life and
shares her personal experience of teenage pregnancy and the abortion
that followed. Lydia Clarke is the founder of Go Free Ministries. Echo
After is a four member modern alternative rock band from Grand Rapids.
They have impressed audiences at night clubs, coffee shops, festivals,

On October 23, 2008,
the Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund will be hosting the Touching
Hearts...Saving Lives Reception. Bob Dutko is scheduled to
speak at this event. Bob Dutko is a leading voice today in the fearless
defense of Christian truth, using logic, reason, science, history and
factual evidence to disarm the critics and equip believers. He hosts
“The Bob Dutko Show,” Detroit's #1 Christian Talk Radio Show, which
is heard daily on WMUZ. In addition, Bob hosts the nationally syndicated
talk show “Defending the Truth with Bob Dutko” heard on Crawford Broadcasting

NOVEMBER
On November 7, 2008, the Right to Life of Michigan
Educational Fund will be sponsoring an event entitled "Vida
Preciosa" ("Precious Life") to benefit its outreach
into the Hispanic community. Bishop Daniel Flores is slated
to speak at this event. Bishop Flores is an auxiliary bishop for the
Archdiocese of Detroit. Prior to his service in Michigan, he served
in a number of capacities with the Diocese of Corpus Christi and taught
classes at the St. Thomas School of Theology. To promote a renewal of
the culture of life, Bishop Flores often addresses prolife groups emphasizing
the dignity of the unborn child. For more information about this event,

On November 13, 2008,
the Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund will be holding the 13th
annual Benefit for Life Charity Reception. Dinesh D’Souza is
slated to speak at this event. Dinesh D’Souza is an author who has written
a number of books including “What’s So Great About America,” “Ronald
Reagan: How an Ordinary Man Became an Extraordinary Leader” and “Illiberal
Education.” His latest book “What's So Great About Christianity” is
the comprehensive answer to a spate of atheist books denouncing theism
in general and Christianity in particular. He formerly served as a policy
analyst in the Reagan White House and as John M. Olin Fellow at the
American Enterprise Institute, and the Robert and Karen Rishwain Fellow
