Right to Life of Michigan youth programs

High School Oratory Contest

Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund's annual high school oratory contest is open to all prolife high school students in Michigan. Contestants give a 5-7 minute speech on one of several prolife topics. Local contests are sponsored by affiliates across the state in the spring, followed by a state contest for local winners. MORE

Outstanding Prolife Youth Award

Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund will award a scholarship in May to one outstanding prolife high school senior in Michigan. Selection criteria include an essay and past participation in prolife activities. MORE

Youth Infographic Contest

Right to Life of Michigan Educational Fund is hosting a Youth Infographic Contest for high school and college-aged Michigan youth. Prolife young people from Michigan ages 13 to 22 can create and submit an original infographic, and contest finalists will have their works shared on Right to Life of Michigan's Facebook page in the summer and judged by a public vote to determine the winners. National Right to Life 2015 Pro-Life Essay Contest

National Right to Life's annual essay contest is open to high school and middle school students grades 7 through 12. Contestants write an essay between 300 and 500 words about the theme "why should everyone respect life?". Cash prizes are awarded to the top-three finishers in both age divisions (7 through 9 and 10 through 12). Essays must be postmarked by January 23, 2015. MORE

National Right to Life Video Contest

National Right to Life's annual video contest is open to contestants ages 15 to 25. Videos must be between 30 seconds and three minutes in length, and must be submitted by March 31, 2015. The winner will receive a free registration to the National Right to Life convention, and the five finalists receive free tickets to the LifeFest Film Festival in Hollywood. MORE
