SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER:

State Rep. Shane Hernandez

State Representative Shane Hernandez is a conservative Republican who believes in limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberties, which begin at conception with the right to life.

Since taking office to represent the people of Michigan’s 83rd House District in January 2017, Rep Hernandez has remained committed to working for the people of his district, and not special interests in Lansing.

Rep. Hernandez credits his family upbringing for his conservative principles. Born and raised in Croswell, MI, he now lives in Port Huron with his wife Renee and two children, Kelsey (5) and Kara (2).

MISTRESS OF CEREMONIES:

Jessica Orzechowski

Jessica is one of the parish services coordinators in the Archdiocese of Detroit’s Department of Development and Stewardship. Her area of concentration is stewardship coordination in parishes with Spanish speaking people. Jessica is a parishioner at St. Alfred in Taylor and has assisted its pastor in a number of successful stewardship education and fund development activities as well as coordinating the Hispanic participation in St. Alfred’s Life Chain and Public Square Rosary for Life. Additionally, Jessica currently serves as a member of the Right to Life of Michigan Hispanic Leadership Committee.

Jessica was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico. She earned her degree in marketing. She and her husband Tim have been married for 20 years and are the proud parents of a 16 year old daughter, Xitlaly.
